Doing the robot challenge inspired me to do fan concepts for other areas of No Man's Sky. Weather effects in the game is one thing that can be expanded upon. The goal is to remove most of the screen obstructing vfx such as the border vignettes for hazard protection and the cloud effects on the ground. I find that it's often very difficult to see during storms which inhibits me from playing. Weather can and should be dangerous but also interesting to walk into.
